GitLab has officially been voted the top company to work for as a product marketer in 2020, at this year’s Product Marketing Awards.
Now in its second year, PMA’s Product Marketing Awards recognizes and encourages outstanding talent and hard work in the product marketing industry.
San Francisco-based GitLab is a web-based DevOps lifecycle tool that provides a Git-repository manager providing wiki, issue-tracking and continuous integration and deployment pipeline features, using an open-source license, developed by GitLab Inc.
William Chia, Senior Product Marketing Manager at GitLab, accepted the award on the company’s behalf and said:
“We’re so very pleased to receive this award. I love being a product marker at GitLab because of their diversity, inclusion and the sense of belonging they value. GitLab has a focus on friends and family first and this has allowed me to build a better relationship with my family.”
Adding to the prestige of the award, GitLab pipped global giants like Salesforce, Zendesk, New Relic, IBM and more to the top spot.
Richard King, Founder of PMA, commented:
“Given the amount of time we spend at work, it’s essential to work in a place where we’re happy, content, and driven to be the best we can be. This award pays homage to the companies identified by product marketers as being a great place to ply their trade. And it means so much more because it’s voted for by the community. A huge congratulations to GitLab from all of us at PMA.”
