Video Transcript

Hi I'm Andy Reid I run Global competitive and Market Intelligence Epicor Software, but also look after the International Product Marketing organization.

What will you be discussing at the Product Marketing Summit?

So at the Product Marketing Summit in London this year, I want to talk a little bit about competitive and market intelligence, the program that we run globally and to share with you some of the insights I guess that I've learned over the last 18 months here are Epicor Software and some of my experience before coming to this role as well.

What nugget of wisdom are you hoping to leave attendees with after your talk?

Now, competitive intelligence is really critical as, um, as a part of product marketing, but it's also an area we don't always get the chance to spend as much time on as we'd like. So what I'd like to do is share some ideas for you to be able to gather that information quickly, how to store that information, but most importantly how to share that information for the greatest impact through the business. Because ultimately it doesn't matter how much research that you do if that information isn't being used by the business, then you're not doing the job of actually being able to influence the success of the organization. So that's what I like to do, make sure that you get an idea of the rhythm and the cadence of being able to distribute that information for the greatest impact.

Which other sessions are you looking forward to at the Product Marketing Summit?

I'm really looking forward to seeing the session by Susan Park around nailing your GTM strategy, the four A's. So yeah, fascinated by Facebook, particularly Oculus I'm a big gamer myself, so you know, really interested to see Susan's session on that.

Catch Andy's session along with a whole lot more from the likes of April Dunford, Sage, Expedia, Depop, Reuters and Facebook at the Product Marketing Summit happening in London on November 26th.
